What is WhereiPark?

WhereiPark is a community where people can find and book monthly parking. WhereiPark connects those with spots to spare with those looking for a place to park. No more pounding the pavement or browsing the classifieds looking for parking, WhereiPark makes it quick and simple to find and book the perfect spot.


Do I need to create an account?

It's not necessary to create an account to browse the listings, or to set up an alert to be notified by email of a new spot. You do need an account to book a spot.


How do I create an account?

All you have to do is click “Sign Up” which you’ll see in the main menu (top right on desktop or menu button in mobile), and then enter your name, email address, and password.

How do I book a parking spot?

Browse the map or search for an address, intersection, or area to find available spots.

Click on the marker for more information and click “View Details” to see the listing in more detail.

If you'd like to book a spot, first, sign in or sign up if you do not already have an account. After, simply select your desired start date, hit the blue "Purchase for..." button, and enter your payment information on the screen that comes up.

Once you have completed your booking, the listing owner will confirm that a spot is available and approve or deny the booking. Please ensure that your profile information (such as license plate number, vehicle make/model) is up to date to speed up the process of getting your spot set up.

If the booking is approved, you will be notified by email and provided with instructions on how to start parking in your new spot. If the booking is denied, you will be notified by email that the booking was denied, and your credit card will not be charged.

How much does it cost to book a spot on WhereiPark?

The price for each spot may be different. The price, as well as any associated taxes or fees for things like permits or access cards, is clearly listed on the details page for each spot.

All of the parking spots listed on WhereiPark are listed at the same price you would pay if you approached the listing operator directly. There are no additional fees charged for booking a spot on WhereiPark.


How can I pay for my parking spot?

All bookings on WhereiPark must be made with a major credit card. When a spot is booked on WhereiPark the first month of parking is covered by the initial payment. Future monthly payments are made via WhereiPark using the same credit card (it is billed on an ongoing basis to save everyone the hassle of making special monthly payment arrangements). For certain listings a security deposit and FOB deposit is also charged (this is indicated in the listing information).


Is it safe to pay with my credit card on WhereiPark?

Yes, very safe. And, you should know that WhereiPark never saves your credit card number. We work with a payment provider who has been certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the most stringent level of certification available). This provider manages any contact with credit cards.


How do I start parking once I’ve booked a spot?

You will receive instructions by email once the spot’s availability is confirmed by the owner and your booking is approved. The instructions will explain how to get set up, and gain access to your spot etc. You will not be charged until your spot is approved and set up.


How can I cancel my parking spot?

If you need to cancel your spot, please click on My Purchases, select the booking you wish to cancel and enter your cancellation date (usually 30 days notice is require, please consult the "Terms" tab of the listing for the cancellation policy.


How do I update my credit card on file?

If you need to update the credit card you use to pay for your parking please click on My Account and select Manage Payment from the menu. You will then be able to update your card information.


How do I get a receipt for my payment(s)?

To view and print a receipt for payments you've made please click on My Account and select My Purchases. You will see the paymens you've made and can view and print each as a receipt by clicking the associated link.

What are WhereiPark's Fees?

It is 100% free to list your spot on WhereiPark.

We only charge a fee if we are successful in renting a spot that you list. More information about our fees can be found here.

How do I Sign the Waiver Form Online?

  1. Sign in with your email and password.
  2. Click the "My Account" tab and select "My Purchases".
  3. Click the blue ‘View Details’ button.
  4. Read through the waiver.
  5. Type your Full Name at the bottom of the page.

How do I add a Second Vehicle to my Profile?

  1. Sign in with your email and password.
  2. Click the ‘My Account’ tab and select ‘Edit Profile’.
  3. Scroll down to where it says “Vehicle”.
  4. Put a "/" between the first and second vehicle for all relevant vehicle details. ie. Make and Model: Jeep Cherokee/HondaCivic, etc.
  5. Click “Update” to finalize all revisions.

How do I edit my Profile?

  1. Sign in with your email and password.
  2. Click the ‘My Account’ tab and select ‘Edit Profile’.
  3. You can edit any section of your profile including your email and password.
  4. Click “Update” to finalize all revisions.

How can I be notified about new listings opening in my area?

  1. Type your desired location into the WhereiPark search bar and press “Search”.
  2. Turn on the notification tab located on the top right side of the map.
  3. Type in your email address and parking address in the pop-up window and press “Create”.
  4. You will now be notified when a new listing in that area becomes available.

The parking listing I want to book in is full, how do I add myself to the waitlist?

  1. Search the listing you want to book in the WhereiPark search bar.
  2. Click the listing you want to add yourself to the waitlist in. A full listing with no spaces is denoted by a grey-colored pin.
  3. Click the pink “Alert me when available” button in the pop-up window.
  4. Type in your email address and press “Create”.
  5. You will now be notified when a spot becomes available at that listing.
