Toronto’s Entertainment District has undergone a major shift in the last decade. This area used to be where all the action was with major nightclubs and bars lining Richmond, Adelaide, Duncan and some other smaller streets in the area. In recent years, other areas like King West, Parkdale and Ossington have taken away a lot of the Entertainment District’s visitors as Toronto’s nightlife has become more decentralized. The Entertainment District is still home to many bars and restaurants, but it is a shade of its former self. Parking in the Entertainment District is expensive and sometimes difficult to find. There are a number of surface lots in the area, managed by a multitude of different private operators. There are also a number of underground lots and a few multi level parking facilities.
