Yonge and Eglinton has seen a lot of development in recent years which has changed the monthly parking landscape. New condominium developments have increased an already high density rate in this retail-centric area and transportation hub. The area is home to many small retailers and the RioCan Yonge and Eglinton Centre is undergoing a massive renovation where we can expect to see many notable major tenants move in after the renovation is complete. There are several underground parking lots in the area, some right off Yonge St. or Eglinton Ave, and others are in smaller office buildings with entrances off side streets in all directions. Monthly parking rates vary in this area, from $100 to over $250. As this area continues to be developed (residentially and commercially), it will be interesting to see the effect on parking rates at Yonge and Eglinton.
